About Gerry Goertzen

Gerry loves everything to do with wind and water! He loves stunt kites, sailing, and especially time spent on his Hobie 16 in the Okanagan. After learning at UBC, SFU, Briercrest Bible College and TWU, he spent two years in Japan and 20 years at Cedars Christian School in Prince George, and then joined the Abbotsford community in 2011. His wife and best friend Debbie (who he met while tree planting in northern B.C) teaches kindergarten at ACS Elementary. His two oldest children are in University (nursing) and his son Sam goes to school at ACS. His dog is Lucy. His nickname in the staff room is "Sparky."
